Create, optimize, debug, and maintain mold designs, including 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and design revisions.
Conduct mold design reviews with cross-functional teams and collaborate with customers to resolve CAD and moldability issues.
Provide technical support to production for molding, quality, and processing issues related to materials, machines, processes, and tooling.
Select and support hot runner systems, and oversee mold installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
Perform tolerance analysis, moldability and capability studies, prepare mold specifications, and review drawings for accuracy and stack-up.
Plan and prioritize work efficiently while adapting to changing environments and working across office and manufacturing settings.
